Privacy Policy

Who we are

Living Lacey is an independent local guide to Lacey, Washington, created and operated by Jake Pierpoint, a licensed real estate broker with Olympic Sotheby's International Realty. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you use a form on this site — asking a question, submitting a tip, contacting Jake, requesting a home value, or joining the Community Insider list — we collect the information you enter: typically your name, email address, and any details you choose to include such as a phone number, property address, neighborhood, or message.

For Community Insider signups, we also record the consent language you agreed to, the version of that language, and the date and time you agreed, so we have an accurate record of your permission.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect basic usage information such as which pages are visited, the referring site, and campaign parameters attached to links. This helps us understand which guides are useful and is not used to build advertising profiles.

How your information is used

• To respond to your questions, tips, and inquiries.
• To review your Community Insider request and set up the personalized neighborhood MLS search you asked for.
• To send the email updates you specifically requested — neighborhood listing alerts, price changes, recent sales, and local market and development updates.
• To maintain and improve the site.

Email and consent

Community Insider emails and real estate communications are sent only with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing stops the emails; it does not delete the record of your request unless you ask us to.

Real estate communications

Questions about buying, selling, or property value go to Jake Pierpoint. Inquiries may relate to real estate brokerage services provided through Olympic Sotheby's International Realty. Submitting a form does not create a client relationship, and there is never any obligation to buy or sell.

What we don't do

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers that host the site and deliver email on our behalf, and when required by law.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. You can also ask us to correct or delete the information you submitted by contacting us, and we will take care of it promptly.
