Description
MASTER PLAN — not a single building. The Hogum Bay Town Center plan (City project #22-0188, binding site plan dividing two parcels into 8 lots) totals roughly 353,800 square feet: six commercial buildings at the west end and four mixed-use residential buildings at the east end, with courtyards, a community garden, play area, and pedestrian connections. Businesses open at the town center include 23 Kitchens and Super Chix; Cooper's Bar & Grill and Dough Zone were reported as upcoming tenants by The JOLT's City Council update. Approximately 350 market-rate apartments are planned; the residential component (Hogum Bay Apartments, 2463 Hogum Bay Rd NE) is now pre-leasing with first residents scheduled for September 2026.
Latest update
Continuing buildout in Phase 3 per the project architect (verified 2026-10-05 against City of Lacey, Thurston EDC, and reporting). Completed history: Cooper's Food and Drink and Dough Zone are now open at the center (owner-provided confirmation, 2026-10-25; not yet independently verified).
