Lacey's grant program for local nonprofits is moving through its 2026 cycle. Per The JOLT News (Kameko Marquez, Aug. 11, 2026), the Lacey Human Services Commission recommended 16 nonprofits for the 2026 Human Services Grant Program — a share of a $300,000 pool of city funding.
The commission discussed the funding at its Aug. 6, 2026 meeting. Final funding decisions follow the city's review process before the money reaches the organizations — which support human services across the Lacey community.
