Saint Martin's University wins third consecutive Best of South Sound gold

Lacey's home university is on a streak. Per The JOLT News (P. Jade Asumbrado, Aug. 11, 2026), Saint Martin's University won the gold award in the Higher Education category of the 2026 Best of South Sound Awards — its third consecutive year taking the honor.

The Best of South Sound Awards recognize the region's top institutions as voted by the community. Saint Martin's — Lacey's private Benedictine university at 5000 Abbey Way SE — has now held the top spot for three years running.
